May 25th, 2013: We’re engaged! Wedding plans are filling most of our time these days, so cooking posts will probably be few and far between. I’ll try to get on about once a month or so and keep you all posted on our adventures as a now engaged couple!
Hello, Hola, and Bonjour! We’re a young couple living together in Southern California. Chris works in marketing for a health supplement company, and Colleen is a behavior consultant for children with autism. We both love our jobs, but treasure the time we have to relax and explore the world together. In our free time we enjoy trying new recipes, restaurants, and foodie events. These adventures began when we started dating in 2007, and have continued ever since. In the kitchen, Colleen primarily acts as the head chef, but Chris brings a flare of spontaneity. Having both studied abroad, we also like to explore food as a cultural experience in our travels and outings. On the road, Chris is constantly encouraging Colleen, a former vegetarian, to experience new foods. Together we have our successes and mishaps, but we always learn something new and enjoy the adventure.
